Reception opening times:
8 – 11 a.m., 2 – 7 p.m. In case of emergency please use the telephone that is on the reception desk.
Check-in/check-out:
Check-in is from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. If you arrive after 7 p.m. we will send you late check-in instructions.
Check-out: until 11 a.m.
Free Wi-fi:
In the hotel you have free High Speed WLAN Internet access in the rooms as well as in the public areas. Just use our code: abc3920abc
Luggage storage:
You can leave your luggage free of charge on the day of arrival before your check-in or on the day of departure after your check out in our ski room downstairs. If you need a locker please come by the reception for the key (8 – 11 a.m., 2 – 7 p.m.). Locker costs CHF 5 – to be paid in the reception.
Washing machine:
Downstairs there’s a washing machine and a dryer – please read the instructions provided.
Meals and kitchen:
We do not serve any meals. There’s a kitchen downstairs for a common use. You can cook until 10 p.m. and then from 6 a.m.
Room cards:
The room cards will open all the door you need: your room, entrance door and ski room door. If you are staying in the dormitory: they will also open a small locker (check the number of the locker on your card).
Smoking:
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel.
Extra services:
Anniversary, honeymoon? Let us know if you would like some decoration, would like us to order a cake etc. Extra charge.
Activities:
Skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, via ferrata and lots more. We will be happy to reserve anything you need.
Arrival:
BY TRAIN: You reach Zermatt in 3½ hours from Zurich-Kloten and in 4 hours from Geneva-Cointrin. Change trains in Visp.

Swiss Travel System “all-in-one ticket”
BY CAR: Drivers park their cars at the Matterhorn Terminal or in a convenient parking garage in Täsch and continue for another 12 minutes by train. Shuttle trains depart every 20 minutes from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Parking:
You should leave your car in Täsch. Let us know if you want us to reserve a parking space for you.
Distance to the ski slopes:
We are 1 minute away from the Gornergrat Station. Just outside the hotel there’s a bus (green line) that will take you to Klein Matterhon Station and Sunnegga.
Ski pass:
You can buy your ski pass directly at the ski lift office or order it online here: https://www.matterhornparadise.ch/en. Check this website for ski pass discounts.
Ski room:
You can store your skis and boots in our ski-room. Ski boots and skis are not allowed in the rooms and corridors of the hotel.
Shuttle bus:
